Jonathan and Isaac are an award-winning musical theatre writing duo based in Glasgow. The pair began working together in 2017 after having met at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and have been collaborating ever since.

Their credits include: Stay (A Play, a Pie and a Pint) at Òran Mór, Glasgow and Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh; Belongings (The Minster School, Southwell); The Great Elf Escape: LIVE (Fearless Players/The Ayr Gaiety); Tanya and Bon Appétit (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland).

They have been finalists for the Stiles & Drewe Best New Song Prize on three separate occasions with their songs Bottle It, Stay and Home, the latter of which was also chosen to be performed at the New York Musical Festival in 2020.

Upon graduation from RCS, they were awarded the Bruce Millar Graduate Fellowship which saw the duo develop a two-hander musical titled Stay, with additional support from the Dundee Rep. The show explores love, loss and the effects of grief and first premièred at A Play, a Pie and a Pint in the Autumn of 2023. Over the course of its development, the show was shortlisted for the Stiles + Drewe Mentorship Award, Aria Entertainment and ALP's Chamber Musical Sessions and the David MacLennan Award as well as the title song being a finalist in the Stiles + Drewe Best New Song Prize 2023.

Currently they are a working on two commissions: a new musical adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk and a full-length original musical based on the extra-terrestrial activities of a small Scottish village, Bonnybridge.
